B.E.S.T. - Bringing Everyone at Shelby Hills Together

B.E.S.T. is a non-profit, parent/teacher organization that was established in 2006 to help purchase items for the children & staff at Shelby Hills and sponsor activities throughout the year.

B.E.S.T. has two fundraisers throughout the year. In the fall, there is a t-shirt sale and the main fundraiser, held in April, is a 5K Run/Walk.

Facts About Shelby Hills

As we start the 2010-11 school year, there are 156 children with an IEP, 116 typical peers, and children under an assessment period. In 2009, a satellite program was added in Fort Loramie and this year Shelby Hills has a classroom in Jackson Center. There are 13 teachers, 14 paraprofessionals, 5 speech therapists, 1 occupational therapist, 2 occupational therapists assistants, 1 physical therapist, and 2 physical therapy assistants.
